How much does your car weigh ? (Maxima)

The big question of this post is. How much does your car weigh ? Is your car always full of school books, a few 100 pounds of stereo equipment, and big round rims? Or do you keep your Maxima on a steady diet keeping her lean and mean for who knows what? Weight does not include any of our fat butts. Just list your generation and your best guess of the weight, again not including your own weight.

97 GXE Auto
3250 on track scale w/ 2200 watt stereo, 19"s, SC and Nitrous all mounted. Full interior. Probably more now w/ all the fiberglass going in and the 2nd bottle.

What stock weight did you use? The 97-99 are slighty heavier than the 95-96's.

On a Cat truck scale my car weighed in at 3250lbs with me (185lbs), 20lbs of tools, spare, jack, 20lbs of work equipment, 1/2 tank of gas, and WSP Stage I subframe connectors (15lbs). I estimate my
"race" weight is about 2920lbs (without me).

I've also heard the Cat scales weigh slightly heavy because Cat will pay trucker's overweight fines if their scale reads lower than the DOT highway scale.

track weight for my 99 auto gxe is 2890, removed front and rear seats. without me in the car.

With my CF hood and stripped interior at the track it weighed 2905 with me in it and the SFCs. Without the SFCs it was about 2885 with me in it. This is all with 1/4 tank. Now I have no CF hood so my weight is up about 30lbs. Street weight with full interior, no CF hood, 1/4 tank, spare, etc is 3000lb with me in it.

i weighed last time to track.

no passenger seat, no spare, no tools, no carpeting in trunk, 1/8 tank gas. rear bench WAS in(had to bring some peeps). damn BOSE prolly weighs 100lbs...haha.

2960 without me in it.
