Can I beat a stock 91 awd tsi?

A family just moved in our neighborhood last week. They got three sons. One has a 300zx tt, the other has a 96 5speed max(like me), and the other has a 91 awd tsi. Would I be able to keep up with any of those cars(except the max-cause it's stock, except for altezza taillights

Oh and the 300zx tt is auto.

300ZX auto will kill you on the highway. If the 300ZX is modded it will kill you from a stop too. The automatic 300ZXs make better drag race cars than the manuals. There is such a thing as a stock TSi? I didn't think those existed. =P Watch out for cheap mods like the bypass valve mod or a manual boost controller. They can easily be low 14 sec/ high 13 sec cars for near no money. He'll own you from a light. =P

Is the talon a stick or auto? You could take the Talon if its an auto or if its a 5 speed too since they run like 15's stock, and you are slighty modded. If you where stock it would be a drivers race i would think. As for the 300zx i am not too sure but i think that would be a very close race, i would give the advantage to the 300zx though...

I know what it takes to make a tsi fast and it doesn't take much! My brother is a dsm mechanic and works on tsi's and gsx's all day and makes them 11-12 sec street cars. It's all old to him.

As for this guy's tsi, it's all stock. He doesn't even have his license yet but he's 17. Probably next week he'll get it. But he can drive stick normally. Should be a good race I think.

I know I'm not supposed to predict a race based on magazine numbers and stats but www.carstats.com sais the tsi awd runs a 15.1 with a 6.8 0-60. I should have no problem beating it even from a light....but...we'll see what happens.

PS: I beat a 2003 Benz sl500 and a 2003 G35 sedan manual(with intake). no bs!!

Then I would say its a driver's race. The TSI might not even be in good shape. Turbo may be shot if they bought the car used.
