Thanks njmaxseltd!

This weekend I had new progress springs and KYB/AGX installed by Tom on my 99 SE. I love my ride again! It handles so well!
I wanted to say thanks to Tom for the install. He's a great guy and I would definately recommend him to anyone.

Thanks again, Tom

Glad you like it and thanks for the feedback. I'm seeing a lot more members going for Progress Springs lately. They do ride pretty good and provide a nice even drop, even for 5 speed owners.

I don't think the moderators are going to like this post though, it should have been titled something like "Progress/AGX installed".

Tom... what do you think about the difference in Progress vs. H&R in terms of ride quality and ride height, taking into consideration the quality of roads in NJ?

I think either spring is going to be just fine on our roads. Provided the install is done correctly to give back some suspension travel.

Both springs ride pretty good, H&R is still the best riding spring out there. Progress is probably more similar to Eibach's ride.

tom, i think i may need to make an appointment with you, as my newly installed Progress/AGX ride as if they have almost no suspention travel... big change from my stock GLE cushy ride.

install

I have to say that having the progress springs in with AGXs is not that different than the stock SE springs when set of 1/2 on the struts/shocks. I love the look though. As you go up to a higher number though is does get a little stiffer.
(I've never ridden in a max with eibachs or h&r so I have no comparison.)

Okay Tom, I'm convinced. I think I'll be giving Cattman a call real soon, and you shortly thereafter.
