buy rebuilt vtc's ??

buy rebuilt vtc's ??

does anyone know where i can just buy a set of rebuilt vtc's. I can do the fix for the vtc's but i dont have a 2 ton press for the rebuild. so i figure if i can just buy a set of already rebuilt ones i can just swap them out ! thanks.

I dont think anyone sells rebuild VTC's, but if you're capable to do the fix on the VTC's I would bring your VTC's to a shop with a press, and rebuild your own. That would be easier than searching the internet of rebuild VTC's.

Yes those can be purchased from your local dealer or Courtesy Nissan. I'm sure you're aware they are an expensive piece. I don't know the exact cost, so don't ask

what Candiman said is probably the best thing to do. I have a machine shop close to my house and he did mine for $15. I would call some machine shops or just shops that would have a press.

Of course some have had rebuilt VTCs fail so if you can afford it then it may be better to get new ones.
