?? about Changing Battery connections

I apologize for not knowing the technical terms for these parts but I want to know if it would be possible to cut off the connectors that go into the red harness that comes off of the positive side of the battery and replace them with ring connectors? I would like to change the connection that goes on the + side but I am limited by the fact that i need the "foreign" adapter for it. If anyone has pics of an aftermarket battery connection (i.e. sound system, extra lights) I would like to see them. I've seen them in stores but I just cant see how they would be able to work with our setup. Thanks in advance.

I was told by a sound shop near me to cut the wires right before the harness and use a battery terminal with 4 inputs. Like a Rockford Fosgate battery terminal. Here are the types wire gauges it can accept -accepts one 1/0 gauge, one 2 or 4 gauge, and two 8 gauge outputs. Hope this helps.

Rey is right! RF makes 'em. Also a few other companies make 'em as well. I've gotten one from Ebay also, although I've been too lazy to put it in yet.

I appreciate the responses fellas, nupe, send me a pic of the terminal you picked up off ebay if possible. I'm still looking for a pic of one of them installed for everyone else.
