Anyone remove their front sway bar?
I see your theory, but I don't think that's a good idea. The Maxima is way to heavy up front to do without the front bar. Are there fwd coupe/sedans out there without a front stabilizer bar? The ONLY vehicle I have ever owned without a front stabilizer bar was a 85 Chevy Silverado... now THAT was a floaty boat.
I was reading in Car and Driver about a Mk2 CRX that was raced in SCCA that they removed the front sway bar and added a thicker rear bar. I have read this in VW forums as well. On a Max with stock suspension I can see that altough turn in should be crisper the car would feel sloppier overall. I'll be upgrading to Tiens soon so I figure that with a much stiffer suspension and lower roll center, especially up front with a FSTB that this would really help.

Front sway bars are typically removed when you want the maximum performance for STRAIGHT LINE racing.
A friend of mine removed the one from his Ford Lightning.
The direct result is, however, that you will lose a great amount of control and steering while going around turns and such.
So this isn't too good of an idea if you plan to do any 'daily driving'.
