Best HI/LO HID conversion kit for 2k

Anyone have any experience with the various HI/LO HID conversion kits out there for the 2k max? I want to stay away from the 2k2 hid install due to the many posts of theft, especially in NJ where I live. I've seen kits from KATZ and EAGLE. Thanks in advance.

Check out the HID kit that .org memeber PoLo has selling on the 5TH GEN PARTS WANTED/SALE page. It looks pretty good

Bad bad idea. They 2K2-2K3 use a different bulb reflector then the 2K-2K1.

If you want to put HID's in a 2K-2K1 housing you MUST buy a retrofit kit. Not all retrofit kits are created equal and NONE are DOT approved, so do your homework.

I've heard good things about the Panasonic H4 kit for cheap $$$, but for the BEST kit I'd go with either:

1)http://www.autolamps-online.com/gasdischarge/index.htm
or
2)http://www.hitechimportlighting.com/bellofhid.htm

my kits are both bolt on for the people that want the easy way out and for the sophisticated user, the retrofit kit, which is a projector hid kit. the projector lens is motorized and based on it's angle which is controlled by your high/low beam switch, will aim the light.

i'm not saying it's easy, cause not retrofit kit is easy, but it CAN be done, given lots of patience. then again, if you just want HID, you can simply buy the kit minus the motorized projector lens.

I thought from the initial post and the title "FS: OEM 4300k HID bulbs/ballasts...." you meant Nissan OEM. I didn't hang around long enough to see what you're really selling.

Please ignore my previous post.

i guess i should have titled it better....what i mean by OEM is that it mounts in an OEM hid socket (we also offer 9005, H4, etc.... kits) and OEM light. MOST if not all aftermarket HID kits are 6k and up. nissans are 4300. these kits are 4300, so i was trying to imply that these have the same WHITENESS and BRIGHTNESS as nissan HID kits. hope this clarifies any confusion you may have wanksta

Yes, 4300K is nice and white/bright, but I'm changing to something more blue/green. I know I'll lose some lumens, but there are too many damn highbeaming ****** that think they are high beams because they are so white.

If you don't do a lot of HWY travel, it shouldn't be a problem though. I don't ever get high beamed in town, just out on the hwy.
