fuel pump fuse ???

well after doing alot of reading on this sight i finally started in on the DIY stuff with my maxima. the first thing i decided to try was cleaning my TB and at the same time change my fuel filter at the suggestion of a couple of threads. i know i need to remove the fuel pump fuse to depressurize the fuel line, but where in the f*** is it?? i even bought a haynes manual which refers me to chapter 12 to locate it and it doesn't say one thing about the fuel pump fuse.

so here is my first post becasue you know i have faith in all of you to help me out here. im addicted to this sight and i am addicted to my max. thanks all

On my 4th gen, the FP fuse is under the steering column to the left. Open the fuse compartment and follow the chart on the back of the compartment cover.

Hehe!

I have pulled that fuse so many times, I can do it without looking! I believe it is about half way up on the right side of the fuse box. I usually do it by feel cos it's just above a point where there is an empty space. The diagram is actually on the back of the fuse box cover which is nice! The fuse box is just above your left knee when you sit in the driver's seat.
