Is there a way to tighten the steering?

Pretty self-explanatory, I'm just looking for a way to tighten up the steering to be more responsive. I looked through the 4th Gen. FAQs and didn't see anything. Has anyone else done something like this?

will front swaybar endlink bushings from a 1989 SE 3rd generation maxima fit on a 1997 4th gen maxima?
