Let me get this straight.. you put a sticker on the side where the tint is on the car(inside)?

Yeah that was the only way to do it. It was required to be on the rear side window

I see no way your going to get that off without ripping the tint off as well

I can get the sticker off by peeling it and its not damaging the tint. Only problem is the residue

hmm.. doesn't baby oil degrade the sticky stuff? Or does that damage the tint as well. I know you can't use anything ammonia based, or thinner and junk.

Next time you put a sticker on somewhere where you know you will take it off, put a piece of plastic or paper of approximate size underneath the sticker. Then when you press the sticker on, only the outside edges of the sticky part will contact the surface. When you take it off, there is that much less glue to worry about.

I've used vegetable oil to remove sticker residue on paint. But never had to on tint. That's pretty gentle stuff. Would that hurt tint ?

#1, get those transparent peices w/ suction cups for stickers that need to be places inside the car...

#2, get some "goo gone"... it will safely remove the residue. You can get it at local stores.

I'm definitey doing that or something like it if I ever need to put another sticker on. You sure about the goo gone because on their site is says "may" be safe for tints. I may end up trying goo gone anyway as a last resort since in worst case I just get the window redone which wouldn't be that expensive

I got it off! I peeled off as much of the sticker as I could with my fingernail while trying not to scratch the tint and then got rid of the glue residue with a paper towel and safe for tint window cleaner. No scratches and you can't tell the sticker was ever there. Now I can enjoy the DC clears I just installed without having to worry about the sticker

Well, i doubt it's going to damage anything. I used it on my tail lights before when trying to take off some old red-out vinyl and it didn't damage or anything... worked like a charm.

Just pour some on a cloth and rub away it it. The sticker residue will start to roll up and off the window.
