I forgot to post this on Saturday, but when I was cruising down Goldenrod Rd. (AKA SR 551. People from the Orlando or Winter Park know what I'm talking about) I pull up to the stoplight at the intersection at University Blvd. A dark blue late model Ford Taurus (the ones that look like bullets) pulls up. The light turns green and I slightly pull away from the light, driving slow and the Taurus guns it. I keep my pace and the Taurus' engine sounds like its being choked to death, or better yet like its going to rip out of the bay. I decided to click off the OD and push the gas down 3/4 the way, easily passing the Taurus which was in 2nd gear, high rpms. I am about at 5500 Revs when I easily pass the Taurus and slow, to regular speed. Knowing the typical racer, I knew what they were going to do. So sure enough the Taurus passes like they won the race.

I was comming home from Hardees one night and I was at a stoplight. There was a Silverado right next to me and and Explorer right behind him. The light turns green and the Silverado guns it. I didn't care about that. The speed limit was 45mph, I went 55mph and I passed the Silverado. So he guns it again. I slow down and the Explorer revvs his engine. I'm like..UMMM OK (sarcastic) He guns it. I gun it and easily passed him. Now I'm next to the Silverado. He still thinks I want to race him (which I didn't until..) and he guns it. I gun it and all I heard was my tires sqealing (AT 55mph!! but it was kinda slippery out) and soon I passed him. I looked down on the speedo and saw I was going 75mph. He turns off and flicks me off. I slow down and the guy in the Explorer flies passed ( I'm guessing he was trying to keep up but couldn't? ). I didn't want to race him again so I just slowed to the speed limit. At the next stop light he revv's his engine. I revv mine. Light turns green and he guns it, I just go slow. He slows down and waits for me. He guns it, but I don't. He finally got the idea that I didn't want to race and speed up.

'87 Toyota Pickup with a Chevy 350 motor in it. That truck was unreal. Smoked a 2000 Camaro SuperSport, but definately odd.

 

Several months ago I was at a stop light and this Isuzu trooper rev his engine, so I looked over and said, "what the hell, let me see what he got." I have an auto 2K with stillen intake with no other mods and he did pull a little on me but I drop the thottle past the floor board and rocketed out. The trooper has some low end torque but little if any after that.

Same thing happens...I just slowed and he just rips past me...whelp...he new what he bought...A SUV.
