If price is a problem get GC's with AGX shocks.
But you cant compare GC's to JICs, GC's are an adjustable 'sleeve' that slips over a shock body (that was not designed for this) and rests on the lower spring perch. I dont know if the GC design has changed since 2 1/2 years ago, but a friend of mine had GC's and tokico's and the lower spring perch on the rear shock broke on the highway when he hit a bump and the sleeve slip all the way down towards the bottom of the shock! The rear right side was like 1" from the ground...(looked like it had bags) I cant remember if tokico replaced the shock under warranty or not.
JICs, however, are a true coilover design, but keep in mind it is a race bread suspension, but you can adjust the rebound for a softer ride (FLT_A2).
You can also contact Cattman for a set Progress Coilovers, also a true coilover design, but its only height adjustable, (cannot adjust ride stiffness) But it was designed on a maxima so Im sure the ride is good.
You can still email sales@mmsnyc.net for a good price on GC/AGX combo as well he will beat any advertised price

I have the old gen 2's not the progress. I think he retails the progress for ~$1350+ shipping, so its up there with the JICs... (still way cheaper then what I paid for the gen 1 (and later gen 2 upgrade) when they first came out years back
A set of JICs will be replacing my dead gen 2's (purchased way before I even knew about his progress set... but I like the more adjustablility anyway. (they werent installed cuz I was gonna part the car out.)

I'm pretty sure you have to call Cattman to get a price and more information about the progress coilovers. You could also ask Cheston (Chebosto) because he helped prototype them for progress/cattman.
