hey...im new to the maxima family..just bought a 96 gle with almost 110k miles for $5800....miles are basically highway.....interior is black leather which looks brand new and outside is champagne with a couple dents/scratches, nothing that cant be fixed. its got everything from bose radio to heated seats to the sunroof...u think this was a good price for the car? i plan on keeping it for about 2 years, then i should get my mom's 2k1 gxe, which right now only has 12k miles on it, looking foward to that alot......any thoughts about the 96 tho?

 

i thnk thats quite a great price for the car. dont do anything to it, get a 5speed and mod that =)

 

great price try to compound out the scratches before you go get a paint job though

 

yeah the scratches arent even that bad....in the back passenger corner theres some scratches and the paint chipped...in the front the headlight got pushed in a bit and the grill too, but that looks like an easy fix...as far as modding im only gonna do a couple things, like new tails b/c i hate orange, window tint and my system, oh and those reverse indiglos b/c they look sick
