Place Racing Inake HELP

Hey guys,
I just got my Place racing intake in two days ago. These are my problems. Where you connect the rubber hose to the MAF side, the hose is obviously to small. Iis anyone else having trouble with theirs sliding off? Also, my other questions is about the filter. I washed my car this morning and as I'm drying it off, I notices that my filter is dripping? How is the water getting in there and is it going to hurt anything. I am still letting it dry as I write this. It appears that there is water piled on the top of the filter, I have taken two paper towels and just socked up the water and when I pull the towel out is dropping like it just rained? Can anyone help me or have some sort of answers why this is happened? Is the water going to ruin the filter?

HELP !!!!

a: the hose IS A COMPLETE B!ITCH and a half! you have to really use some strength to get the hose on there (I'm assuming your talking about the midpipe). It took me and a friend a little over 45 minutes to finally get the hose on right. There's a slight bend that makes this almost impossible.

b: your intake shouldn't even see water unless your driving thru floods or something. What size hole did you cut? My intake sits a little lower than normal (I think), but then thats the way it was installed, I just never got around to fixing it yet.

it is in there correct. I dont know why the water is in there. All i did was wash my car? I traced the hole perfect. I dont understand how or where the water is coming from. Did you seel your hole from the engine bay? Will the water hurt the filter in anyway ? My car is just outside sitting there because i am wondering what i should do?

PLEASE HELP

If your really concerned, try and get the filter off and check the actual filter itself. If its wet, let it sit out and dry off, and don't drive the car. If its just water on the top of the filter, just wipe and enjoy.

My hole is somewhat sealed.. rather ghetto looking sealed. My buddy cut the hole, and we put stripping around it along with some touch-up paint underneath, but one of these days I gotta fix that as well.
