I've scratched some house paint onto my bumper!
I was backing up to the garage and I somehow managed to scrape the left-rear bumper against the wooden edge of the garage door opening. My grey lustre paint is now horribly marred by white house paint!
I've tried rubbing it out with water but it hasn't done any good at all. There's a slight bit of scratching that leads me to believe that the house paint is somewhat etched into the car paint. (sigh)
I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions. I don't mind a LITTLE wear and tear on my car but the white paint has got to go!

PS, I've read this thread:

I'm just not sure if it pertains or not. I'm not adverse to getting a buffer or having it done if that's what it takes.

I'd try some type of cleaner/wax. Klasse AIO is what I use, but there are many to choose from. If you didn't scrape it too hard, and the white is in the clear coat, it should come right off.
For some reason, this happens to my wife's car all the time...not hitting the garage, but getting other colored paint on her finish. It has always come off with the cleaner/wax.

I have this stuff from meguiars. Paint conditioner, I had some nasty like oil crap on my paint that it took out. I've had worse happen don't worry, I've had sap eat through my clear coat! It could be worse : / Good luck, don't use anything too abrasive when your rubbing that out!!
