I have not used it in years, but I did use it all the time on my (new at the time) '89 Grand Am SE Turbo. That car was maroon and it left a very slick finish. Wiped off really easy, too. I think they advertised it "lasts a year" or something. I haven't used it in forever, but if it's still the same (orange bottle I think) I would use it no problem.
My last application was ~2 months ago, there have been multiple days of rain mingled with the blistering Houston summer days, and the stuff still beads LIKE CRAZY. Oxidizer is right though, if you get it on the plastic super tough to get off.
I personally would find something else. It has a heavy chemical odor which means high petroleum distillates. This may be great for cleaning but will eventually strip the natural oils from the paint and dull it pretty quick. Check these out:

It left slight "ghosting" swirls where I let it dry, that was tough to wipe off, but after a lot of rubbing and some quick-detailer-type spray it came out. If you use Nu Finish do one small section at a time and don't let it dry all the way out. For best results removing / wiping it off, you will want to have several clean dry towels at hand and constantly turn them. Don't use it in the sun either.
I switched to Meguiars shortly thereafter and have not used anything else since. I like Meguiars because its so easy to apply and remove, you can let it dry on the whole car and it doesn't leave those ghost swirl marks. It may not last quite as long as Nu Finish but for ease of use it's worth it to me.

I would use it if: I absolutely hated polishing/waxing the car and I did not mind not getting the best possible shine.
Alternative: Rain Dance paste is a long lasting wax that shines better than Nu Finish but does not last quite as long.
Also: The bottom part of the sides and the bumpers are a good place to use the Nu Finish.
I have used it before, and still use to this day, the only problem I have is removing it from the little craks and lines in the car, but other than that, it gose on with a buffer and off with a buffer in about 30 to 45 mins and thats doing the whole car. It protects well but not to shinny. But take some Meguiars quick detailer behind and you've got a nice shine. I usally do that to get rid of the dust it leavs.
PS Nice shot of the ride but both you and me need to lowere our cars.

I use the Zymol stuff. Love it and hate it. The paste wax (the $$$$$ stuff) is well... expensive, but mainly the drawback is it takes forever and a half to get it done. The "cleaner" liquid wax (cheaper) is good and is easier to take on and off, but does not leave quite as shiny finish.
Prestone bullet wax is also a very good liquid wax, long lasting, nice shine and cheaper.

The stuff is great. I have used New Finish ever since it hit the market. I have used it on white, black, silver, and maroon cars. I use it on the body, wheels, headlights, and taillights. It really helps the brake dust from building up. I do not have time to wax my car a minimum of four times a year that is needed with regular waxes. I do my cars twice a year. I wax the cars once in the spring and once in the fall. It may not give your the best mirror finish you could possible get, but is pretty dam good. On a light colored car I dought you could tell the difference. As far as cleaning out the extra left over in the cracks just use a toothbrush with soft bristles. One thing you do have to watch is any black trim. It will make the trim look cloudy. A fix for that is a shot of WD-40. Cleans the black trim right up.
I think it was advertised as being able to withstand a billion and half car washes and still bead up! I used it so many years ago I dont remember much else but that it was also a supposed to be a pretty good paint restoration option. Without actually painting that is

the same holds true for ANY wax that I've ever used from Meguiars to Zymol to Blue Coral to whatever...
