what could cut plexglass?...
if you do it before you heat it, you can cut it with a router or table saw..
on the table saw, use a very fine tooth blade- like a cabinet grade or plywood blade.
on the router, I dunno. never used one, but it's very common.
don't use a jigsaw, as it will melt the plexi and will "glue" itself back together and harden along the seam before you ever get completely through the plexi. not good.
as for doing it when it's hot and soft, I think tin snips may do the trick.. get some with a curved blade on it. I've seen people cut molten glass with it, but glass is much different to work than plexi.
