Will full exhaust cause check engine light???

I have just ordered a Cattman Y-pipe, Random Technology High Flow cat, and a Greddy SP catback exhaust. What I'm wondering is when I have these all installed, will the check engine light(MIL) come on? Also, I'm curious to anyones feedback on the never ending Cattman vs. Stillen y-pipe debate. Which is better? Thanks!!

if the install is done correctly then it wont trigger a cel. the only thing that throw a light would either be leaving out or damaging the o2 sensor. ive got a 1st generation cattman y pipe and have no complaints. if you did not get the gaskets with the cattman y then make sure you purchase new ones and dont try to reuse the original ones. also, i hope you either like the car to extremely loud or you have a large resonator to put on.

the catback is whats going to make the most noise because of the free flow muffler, removal of resonator and larger piping. if i were you, i would look into getting a decent sized magnaflow resonator put on. the y pipe with stock muffler will barely increase noise but when you pair that with your other two mods, it will extremely loud in my opinion. some people have different tolerances. i have done my entire exhaust except the muffler and its the perfect sound for me.

If I do the whole complete exhaust, but leave the factory muffler on, I still should see major hp gains, right? Because just putting a muffler on doesn't make that much of a difference.

im not sure what you consider major gains but expect about 12hp for the ypipe, the cat may give 1-2 and if you do the greddy ive heard around 5hp. i personally would just get the y pipe, intake, b pipe and keep the stock muffler. if you want it real quiet then drop the intake and just pick up the y and b.
