Abslote Pressure Sensor?

You know how when you do the SC the "Abslote Pressure Sensor" is put to the side of the block with the stand out tube. Does it need to be in the intake or charge pipe to work correctly? I just had a new engine put in the car and now I keep on getting the "0105" SES code. I am even getting it twice.
Is anyone else getting this or know if this is someting that is normal OR is the sensor actually gone bad.

Any help or input would be great.

Im gonna have to say the sensor has gone bad, I have that sensor just sitting on the side and never got the code. You definetely want it on the intake side and not charged side.

But don't you have it just in the engine compartment and not in the intake.
That is the way it is called for in th SC install.

I thought on the S/C install on the intake piping there was a small grommet where that sensor went into. I remember it was right above the filter.

NO you are thinking of the Abslote temp Sensor. The Abslote Pressure Sensor is the one that has a vacuum hose that goes to it. Look up the 0105 code in the service manual and you will see what I am talking about. It's in EC page 172

Got it, now I remember, well all I can recommend is doing what the FSM says about finding out if it is defective or not.

5-gens have MAP's? Did that come stock or with the kit? Cuz my brother is concerned that he might have blown the MAF/MAP (dont know which one it is) sensor on his supercharged 2K1. It was on the charged side BTW. What are the symptoms of a blown MAF?
