jus curious, what kinda scents/products people prefer, and any particular type of device/freshner they use

i use the square air-freshner things that have a piece of paper soaked in liquid freshner and its sealed tight in a flat square bag, and you just place that bag under the seat, and it keeps it smelling great for months...i dunno how else to exactly describe that thing

I used to use Ultra Citrus spray, which was awesome...got rid of odors and disappeared after a few mins. Now since my GF *****ed about that enough I use Ultra Vanilla.

I use stoner's xenit when cleaning the scuffs off the door sills all the time and it leaves a nice citrus scent that lasts a while so I dont even need an air freshener.

i have a friend that uses the dryer sheets (sheets you throw in the dryer when you dry your cloths to make them soft and smell good).

he wets them a little and puts them all over the car, even the trunk.

then when he comes around we all ask him if he just came back from washing his cloths.

but i have to say some of them do really smell good.

I work at a car wash, so besides getting free carwashes, I have access to air freshners. I like the "New Car Sent" one. Even though it doesn't really smell like a new car, I still like it.

No scent...I use upholstery and carpet cleaner, and in a few days it's scent goes away and leaves the car smelling fairly new again. I'm glad that I get lots of compliments that my car still has the "new car smell."

BTW, I don't have leather either

I noticed that most car fresheners dont work as well with leather. I guess the scrents like to soak into the upholstry. But yeah =/
Stupid car fresheners. I just spray some AXE in my car everytime I get in. Works great.

Dryer sheets work excellent. One in the glove box, one in the trunk and one under each seat.

The new car scent tree is also pretty good.

That's what I use, and they last awhile, as long as you don't have your A/C or heat coming from the front vents. Otherwise, you're lucky if they last a month.

Are you using a "breather" to filter exhaled fumes or changing a baby's diaper in the backseat?

My mother in law just gave me a vent clip that has a liquid filled glass bottle with a wick to dissipate the scent (Jasmine something). Has 3 settings, and so far works very well. I have it on the lowest setting, and it works regardless of whether the vent is turned on or not. It would be too strong for me on the other settings. I just gotta see how long it lasts and how much the refills are.

Nope. I have a spray air freshener that I buy at a local car wash that smells like baby powder. They have other scents like jasmine, but I smelled the baby powder once and got hooked.

which kind of air freshners last the longest?

My friend has some type of beads that you put into like door handle cups and any spaces you have and they've smelled good for a while...

what else is there that stays smelling good? regular air freshners you hang off your rear view don't last long even if you keep them in the package as advised..
