i like meguiars gold class because it just seems to last longer. second choice being turtle wax. i have used zymol and zaino. i used zaino religously for about a year but soon realized that it didn't last. i am pretty lazy so i only wax my car 1-3 times a year.

I don't think Zaino should be up there since it really isn't a wax, it's a polymer. As for what I perfer, Klasse, which is also not a wax but an acrylic formula.

For "wax" I use P21S or Meguiar's professional series products (tan bottle) They give me the best shine, warmth, and durability. I currently use Zaino, which is as said technically not a wax. But since it is for shine/protection and is applied like a "wax", I give it my vote. I have done 4 coats in the last 9 months and it still protects like nothing else I've used.

for now i have to say Zaino. the only thing i don't like is that you can't buy it in a store and it's kind of hard putting in on.

some ppl are trying to get a group deal going for Zaino now.

Eh..... there are way, WAY too many choices and opinions out there to make this poll very helpful to you. Two "big" companies were also left out: Eagle One and Mothers, and every company makes more than one wax (sometimes like half a dozen) which makes things even more nebulous.

I love Meguiar's Gold Class Wax ,because it seems to last long ,and it offers UV ray protection with a show car shine. I love to see my car in the sunlight because you can tell the finish reflects the rays, sometimes like a mirror,to the ponit where it hurts my eyes. Then i just grin knowing my car has a sick looking shine.BTW I recommend using good old #7 Show Car Glaze from Meguiar's,this it what gives you that flawless, wet looking, show car shine, and when it's combined with the Gold Class Wax and a good surface prep, the results are just Wow.

I used Zaino once, feels great and looks decent but that could be because i'm a Sterling Mist. Can't really see a refelction on those.

1. Zaino - ease of use. No white residue. Great shine.
2. Meguiars - works good. Many choices. Great shine.

Which one is good for a white car and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I used Mother's wax a few weeks ago and it's pretty good. Just get tired of doing the whole car by hand...

Mothers Wax.....

I've been using Mother's Cleaner Wax (can not bottle) for well over 10 years now. I have been to many shows. This wax is totally safe, even for clear coats. I haven't seen anything better for the money ($10.00 or so?)...... give it a try. They even guarantee there products!
Meguirs is a great product, don't get me wrong, but I fell in love with the Mother's and I use it on all of my vehicles (1994 Max GXE, 2003 Max SE 5-speed, 1999 Accord, 2001 Escalade) all without a problem.

As far as "Tire Shine" - I like the Original Tire Wet - it works well, and lasts. Just make sure you let it sit for at least an hour, if not overnight before a show or whatnot.

Caio for now,

George

I like Meguirs Gold Class do to it being durable and having a high gloss finish. I used Eagle One before the Meguirs and found that it "white dusted" a lot more and wasn't as durable. I think I will soon be trying klasse with the gold class wax on top of it.

I like Liquid Glass but like some others it is not a wax...... The longer a car sits in the sun the deeper the shine gets. Works excellent on the wheels as when they get dirty just use the hose at home and spray them off. No work or mess for me. Another good thing about LG is that in the winter salt rinses right off the car.

I used to use Meguiar's Gold Class. Great wax, easy application, decent durability. Then I tried Zaino. Hands down wetter shine, lasts longer IMO, and it never streaks on the paint. I also tried it on the wife's dark green 4Runner and it definitely does a great job on dark colors.

I like Turtle Wax Extreme cleaner wax..2 coats lasts about 5 months months with regular washing with a gentle car wash..great shine, doesn't last long if you dont wash the car regularly though..about once every 3 weeks is the minimum..use a spray wax once every 2 months and it'll last all year...as per the label: "Satisfaction Guaranteed: Extreme Cleaner Wax will outshine, outlast, and outperform and other car wax or polish or your money back. If not completely satisfied return unused portion and sales receipt for a full refund" ..I've used both paste form and liquid form, and I prefer the liquid form as it goes on well with an electric buffer..its cheap too ($5.00 per 16 oz. bottle)..I haven't tried meguiars gold class, because I dont like the idea of forking out $10 for a bottle of wax that wont last a full year with the way I wax (3+ coats about 5-10 times a year)..this stuff is getting harder to find around here as no one buys it, and stores have pulled it off the shelves..If it makes a difference, my car is that silvery gold kind of champaigne color..

For a SUPER nice shine, try a good quality carnuba over the Klasse Sealant Glaze. I've used P100 and it looks great!!

I've used Zymol few times. After a day or two, I see bunch of fine blue particles (dried wax) all over the car.

My Max has had Turtle Wax its whole life and that has given me pretty good results. For my next detail (saturday), I'm going to try Meguiars Professional Hi Tech Yellow Wax #26. I have high expectations for it. I do know it will be less of a pain than the paste form Turtle Wax I've been using.

Sorry this comes a bit late, but be sure to use a pre-wax cleaner or swirl remover or something before #26. Unlike the TW, #26 is a non-cleaner wax so it is not "self-prepping" and sometimes that has caused frustrating streaks or hazes for people using it on an unprepped surface. Like all waxes, very thin coats and "proper" drying time (whatever that may be for a particular wax) are important for easier use.
