Quad exahaust (fake) options

Alright, I haven't started a thread in a while, but I've been working this idea out lately and I wanted some opinions. I recently painted my muffler black and I have some nice chrome tips on it to accent the dark grey paint and I have access to another slightly jacked up 5th gen muffler. I wanted to cut it up so it'll fit in the same place on the left side of the car, just so it looks like there are 2 mufflers, black it out, do the same tips. As you know, unless you have an AE, the rear bumper cover has a slight angled groove for the tips and replicating that without body work and repaint might be cost ineffective so I thought about getting an AE kit or just the rear piece so it's flat on the bottom? Any thoughts? I might just do the body work and paint just the same (one large blemish there already), but I think this will look mighty fly, I really don't want to hear posts about it being cheap, ricey or "it's not true dual exhaust" I'm just playing around to be a little more custom.
