HELP!!! SES light and #6 cylinder is not firing
HELP!!! SES light and #6 cylinder is not firing
Today I was on the way Niagara Falls and about 100 miles from home SES light comes up. Then car starts shaking at low RPM's. Likely I saw a Pep Boys of the highway and they were did a diagnostics. #6 cylinder is not firing. The tech is not sure is it's a coil or a distrubutor. Reading some old threads I can tell that coil failure is pretty common in 2000-2001. Any one with coil failure experience, did you have same king of simptoms?
Can I buy a single front (short) coil? preferably at a local dealership. How much is it? how hard is it to swap it? could it be a distributor?
Thanks in adavance and sorry for spelling.

Simptoms seem to be the same. You can get a single coil from a dealer for around $65. Replacement is VERY simple - if you ever changed spark plugs, it's twice easier than that. Takes two minutes to do.
Good Luck.
