Passenger headlight goes out after a a few moments.

First off. I tried searching this site for the past hour looking for something on this and had no luck. So I apologize if this has been covered which I'm sure it has.

Secondly, I have had my passenger light go off after driving for a few minutes in the dark. I can see it flicker then just shuts off completely after being on for a minute or so. Sometimes it stays lit up to 15-20 minutes before flickering off on me. I can then turn the lights off then back on and have it on again for a few minutes before repeating its previous behavior by going out.

Today I received my replacement ballast in the mail. So of course I replaced that thinking it would fix the problem. Long story short, after replacing it. The light stayed on up to 20 minutes with the car running. I then tried again later on to test to make sure it still works, it turned off about 30 seconds in of being on.

so before taking off my front bumper again to get to this ballast I am hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction as of what I should try next?

Thank you guys so much in advanced. This issue has been driving me crazy for way too long now . I dont even drive at night anymore if I can help it due to this issue. I want my night life back ha.

When this happened to me my socket was burned and the inside was burned to a crisp. It was flaking off. Check to see if your headlight socket is still in good condition.

Maybe the bulb is bad. Swap it with the other side.
