I have Goodyear RSA's now and they suck bigtime. I need a tire that can go in 3 inches of snow pretty good. I live in PA. We dont really get dumped on anymore, but we do get several inches. Do you's know of a good tire in the wet & snow? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

car. Being in NJ, we have almost as bad weather as you do in PA. I put these tires on last winter and have been very happy with their performance in snow, rain, and dry conditions. Unless you can run two sets of wheels/tires for summer and winter, I think the 5k's are the closest you can get to a true all season tire for a reasonable price. dunno how much money you want to spend, but Pirelli P7000SS are absolutely awesome in rain and snow.

according to articles from tirerack and Pirelli, the P7000 will outperform even the PZero in rain. that's gotta say something!

These tires aren't cheap though.. ~$110 on tirerack, $160 local dealer.

 

If you have 17" wheels, I would recommend Dunlop SP5000's. I have them on my Maxima and they are excellent tires. Good traction, and very very progressive handling characteristics (the tires gradually lose grip, not suddenly).

If you have the stock 16" wheels, then Bridgestone RE930's are a great choice. I had those before and I think they grip even better than the Dunlops (unfortunately RE930's don't come in 17").
