Yellow color coming from driver headlight.. best way to clean it??

My passenger headlight is clean and puts out nice clean light, but the driver side has a yellow tint to it.
I have tried cleaning it with window cleaner and soad to no avail.

Any good suggestions..

I have even taken it apart and cleaned it

That yellowing is due to the plastic "weathering" over time. What you will need to get is a plastic cleaner and polish to take that out. In your case, I would recommend Renovo, Meguiar's, or 3M and then follow up with Plexus.

BTW I looked in the stickies up top.. I do not see it.. OR did I miss it?

If it is not there it might be worth putting there..

but thanks again

and I have NO idea what plexus is, but I can guess it is a plastic cleaner?

Anyway I'll find it

Try either Zaino Z-12 Glass Polish, AutoGlym Glass Polish, or Even Klasse All In One.

Sorry if I'm highjacking this thread a bit, but I think it's related enough to get in here

My driver's lamp AND both foglamps look cloudy as well. However, I'm not sure if there are scratches as well on the lens. Are those scratches removable with the products mentioned above or do I have to use "other" methods.

Thanks.

I don't think this would cause "yellowing" but sometimes headlamps and foglamps accumulate dirt/dust inside them, making them look all hazy and dull. I can't remember if I read about it here or another site, but I remember someone describing how he removed the whole housing out and swished some cleaner and then some alcohol around in it (the alcohol helps dry it out too).

Hi, I just got new headlights for my 97 max, and I would like to keep them looking new for a long time. What can I do to prevent the lights from yellowing and getting cloudy?? Thanks.

Ive always wanted to use this on my windshield since I saw it on a detailing show one time. But I can never seem to fin this glass polish in any autostore. Is this normal and do I have to buy this online?

Usually Autoglym Glass Polish is easiest to find. At least, in my area. Zaino will have to come from a Zaino dealer. AG on the other hand can sometimes be found at glass shops as well as auto parts shops I discovered.
