So, what you are saying is that if someone offered you an automatic skyline, or a Ferrari 456GTA you would have to say no then?.

Do you realize that some people have to drive an automatic out of neccessity and not desire?

I would take the Skyline and get a 6spd conversion.

Do you know how much that would cost and trouble finding a person who knows skylines ... i think that would be really hard

Those skyline parts are really expensive!

you must have some connections...

I would give my 6 speed maxima, and a fair sum for that sort of car. That is a dream, the car being automatic is trivial if you think about it. Do you see many opportunities to own one, reasonable ones?

That car, is nissan purity, it's beautiful, and a dream!

OK Fine. I would love to have a Skyline. Even if it was automatic, it would be a skyline, thus destroying almost all other cars on the road. But since driving my 5spd Maxima is so fun, I can't see myself with a car that powerful without it being a manual. It would be missing out on too much fun.

I've never really known or looked into what a Nissan Skyine was, but my GOD that is a sweet looking and badass ride!! I assume from the reading that they are not street legal in the US, but how much would it cost to get one, like the one in the auction for example, and have it US street legal?? Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldnt find any prices.

One site I was looking at about it said you could mod it to over 1000HP!!!! HOLY SHEET!!!

If I'm not mistaken, it sounds like there's 2 Skylines for auction there. The other is listed as a "Nissan GTS". I don't think any other Nissan has ever used "GTS" as a trim level. I'm pretty sure that the one listed as "Nissan Skyline" probably isn't a GT-R either. So that makes two RWD VQ25 non-turbo Skylines for sale. I'd rather have an S13 or S14.

Hmm...almost seems like some people trying to import JDM vehicles got caught and had them seized....

Hence the "export only" designation.

There was a Skyline GT-S: http://www.motorex.net/m_uspricing.html

However, I'd take the Soarer over a Skyline GT-S, but not a GT-R.
