I've been tempted to try it but suspected it wouldn't work. Saw a set of tools featured on TRUCKS (tnn) that would do the trick though.
I got a slight dent in the front qtr panel from when I took my car for service. It looks like it was from a tech leaning in under the hood.
Nissan denied, I have to suck it up.

I personally watched a large gent at a quick lube place completely maul the front fender of a Miata. They fixed the car for him no questions asked!
As for dings I'd just take it to a shop. I had major hail damage (hood, valance, fenders, roof) on my wife's Trooper professionally fixewd for like $1200. I've had single dings popped for around $40. If you've got multiple's most shops will usually give you a "bulk" rate.

have to take it to a buddy to see if it can be taken out or to see if the bumper alignment is damaged on that spot-
