What kind of paint to use to paint fluid caps

Planning to paint some of my fluid covers (brake fluid, power steering, coolant, windshield fluid). Any suggestions on what to do and what to use?

There's probably other options, but I would use high temp engine paint.

I used hi-temp engine paint. Try to use very, very thin coats.

that's a pretty good red. I tried high-temp red on my caps but they turned up orange. Maybe I need another layer?

Some pics are on my homepage. I didn't use hi-temp paint. I wanted to match the color of my Red Top, and none of the hi-temp colors matched at all.

The color that came closest was a Toyota exterior color IIRC, so that's what I used. Seems to be fine so far. No peeling, blistering or fading.

I used either Duplicolor or Plasti-Kote high temp engine enamel. I used Ford Red. Also covered it with a coat of high temp clearcoat...
