when do you see peak boost?

for a 5spd, lets say your supposed to be pushing out 10psi, when do you actually see your gauge hit 10psi?

boost is rpm dependant with the vortech blower... the higher the rpms, the higher the boost... peak s/b at 6500

i think i need a hob(sp) switch, when my key is on the on position u hear a constant feed of fuel or something from the engine, i think that blue thingy people call FMU's or something

where do u buy one?

you might not see 10psi as they claimed on their pulley. for 13psi pulley, I have only seen 11psi the most so far.

and yes! the blue disk is called FMU (fuel management unit) since you have a 3.125 pulley...make sure you have a 8:1 FMU.

Goto OP with me this weekend and redline each gear with me. You'll see peek boost then

Someone didn't hook up the relay properly to the OEM fuel pump signal so your inline pump is running fulltime in the IGN position.

ok, i read all those threads, so short and simple is.. i dont need a hobb switch cause it'll create lag, thats why everyone disconnected theres?

Yes, keep it running fulltime.

The issue of the pump running when the engine is not is more important. If you leave your key on the ign to listen to the radio, it may overheat your inline pump because it should turn off if the engine is not started within 3 seconds.

so true....I always listen to the pump and make sure it is off everytime that I turn off my car.
