Hello all,



I just ran the automatic transmission diagnostic and i came up with,

"Speed Sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected" according to the flashes indicated, I was just wondering if anyone knows or can post a link where i can locate this sensor so i can check/replace it, so I don't have to run out and buy a Chiltons =P. Any info is VERY appreciated.

:EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention its a 1995 Maxima with 73,000 miles if that matters.

good luck, everytime i ask a question about my tranny, the only reply i get is "your tranny is dying", and i refuse to accept this. it seems as though the inner workings of an automatic transmission are a complete mystery.

my sensor was a small one, a little smaller than the size of a quarter plugging directly onto the bellhousing... i wish i had a pic or somethin to show ya...

 

Haha, thanks guys looks like i'll be bringing it to the 'ole mechanic and see what he can do =).
