Struts
Struts
Does the front end need a wheel alignment whenever the front struts are removed and/or replaced? I know that there are two mounting bolts at the base of the strut that keep it in place. Some cars have slots (ie: hondas) instead of just holes which allow for some minor adjustment.
The reason why I ask is that I have to remove one of the struts (temporarily) but then I will put the original back and wasn't sure if it would affect the front alignment.
Thanks for your help.

FYI...The car I am referring to is a 1999 GLE.
do you have big *** rims? if not i would recommend getting a lifetime alignment from a tire shop of sorts. they usually wont do it for 18s and up i think. i take mine there every six months or when i feels like the car is pulling wrong
good luck
