how bad do KYB and Sprint really suuck?
how bad do KYB and Sprint really suuck?
I been searching before I buy some suspension mods, and I want to go with the Intrax/Tokico setup, but the price of the KYB/Sprint setup is really inviting. Everyone seems to be flaming this setup and I know the old adage, you get what you pay for, but I was curious about your experiences with these combos...
Thanks in advance...

Who's flaming? I've been running that setup since last summer. No complaints, ride is great and low. Only problem is, the rear sits up higher, but it seems to level out once you straight driving
my Sprint and KYB was good for over a year...after that ti started to suck. but thats perfectly acceptable since KYBs aren't made for big drops. I'm pretty sure Toks will perform the same since they aren't made for extreme drops either so IMO none(KYB or Tok) is any worse than the other.

what happens when they start to crap out? real bouncy?
I think the only problem some have with the Sprints is that they sit a little higher in the back on some. I have seen a lot of sprints that look good on the max and some that are just a little high in the back for me.
I would go with Koni if you can afford them for the struts. They are the only thing that will handle the big drop for a long time...or so I have read.
