NOThappyrice: CAR ACCIDENT pix of may 2003, hwy 17.

[quick story]
driving to UC santa cruz pickin up my sister, it was raining big and runnin on bad tires (kumho touring plus 732 205/65/15) because i got flat tire back in UCLA i was driving speed limit followin a civic infront of me with at least 3 car distance. a big truck next to me splash a puddle of water into my front gay tires around the corner, i hydroplane and hit the center divider and lost control. here is the result:

pic 1: biggest damage, front bumper, clear corner, all hyperwhite bulbs, radiator support, etc...
pic 2: front grill shifted to the right, slight scratch on driver's headlight
pic 3: fender popped out, windsheild nozzle won't pump out water cuz the container is broken

pic 4: driver's side corner of the hood is bented
pic 5: so the hood won't properly close. some space in between the fender. not drivable during rain. (luckily i live in CA, not much rain has been goin on in the summer so far)

the estimate at B&S hacienda bodyshop for full package is $2,900. if jus shift everythin back into its place with a painted front bumper it'll be $1,200. i already bought the front bumper and corner light myself. still lookin for couple more bodyshop to get estimated.

nadir gave me a nice bodyshop in san jose, i will check tat out this wednesday.

Well, good news is it wasn't major damage.
If you find the right place, it should cost no more than $1000.

Good luck.

As already mentioned, its a great excuse for a CF hood. Just order it yourself, it'll probably be cheaper than going through the body shop.

redlinemax - they got a real nice CF hood, as for the bumpers, 97 swap would be nice, but as long as you get it fixxed the way you want it, its fine.
