DAMN! The dude is preparing a VQ30DE race engine for his 350Z. Why he chose a 3L is beyond me..but it looks hype either way. I wonder wat the gains are with an individual throttle body setup?

VERY INTERESTING, but why the short runners for the intake? He may not have a lot (or even) high end.......

"The aerodynamics are highly efficent using ground effects (as with Champ cars), combined with the excellent Nissan Maxima V6 engine, offering a maximum power of 410 CV at 8.500 rpm, give to this Single Seater an extraordinary balance that will allow the young and talented drivers to experience the feelings, requirements and situations close to the most important world car racing event: the Formula One."

LOOK WHAT ELSE I FOUND, Nissan got 450 hp out of it

K - I've seen those individual TBs before - like on the older nissan race car with it's 4 sidedraught solex carbs (Adam Corolla has one)...

But do they just completely give up onthe whole concept of air filtering? Do they just resign themselves to rebuilding the engine every race?

you flow alot more air with six single throttle bodies than you do with one, plus those are decent size.

an 8-single carb setup for my mustang would cost $2600, but is worth about 55hp I believe. who knows

The the series he's racing in may have a displacement requirement that is smaller than the 3.5L, or it may be that he's found the 3.0 to be a more rev-happy engine and be better suited for his car.
