Yeah mine never seem to short out so I guess I'll sell my knock sensor because I do not need it.

I've been running with mine bypassed for about a week or so. I heard some very light pinging around 3400rpm and moderate throttle one day when it was 95F and 80+% humidity. It's been cooler since then though and no knocking heard. The default timing map seems to be conservative enough that you won't have problems unless it is EXTREMELY hot/humid out, or possibly if you have a lot of mods. Just be sure to run nothing but premium fuel, otherwise you will definitely have some issues .

i have yet to hear any pinging and have had it on for about a week also with one day hitting 90+ degrees, and alot of humidity, do u think this can be a long term fix for our damn ks problems?
