Are the caliper pins silver or gold?

Im pretty sure that they are black.

 

Maybe they're not caliper pins. I'm talking about the metal pins you get with metal master pads. The ones I have for the rear are silver and the ones for the front are gold. I was wondering if that's the way it's supposed to be.
