Painting Caliper Gold?

Has anyone ever seen calipers painted gold? If so how did it look, if not how would you guys think it'd look? I think in all those ads with a blue Skyline in it its calipers were gold in color. Just want some input. Thanks!

yes. the bronze or gold color is nice. i prefer it to red. but both are nice. skyline GTR's, the G35 coupes and the 350Zs use the brembos. i may paint my stockies bronze because i upgraded my wheels and they can be seen easily behind the spokes. i thought of painting the calipers pearlescent purple, as purple is my favorite color. but that may be too gay. or it may look awesome. still thinking. nobody would ever have that.

Wow, that is pretty impressive. Did you do the paint job on the vehicle, or did you remove the calipers to a bench?

unbolted the front ones and painted them. you dont disconnect the brake lines, just get a wire and tie it to the springs so they dont hang on the lines. the rears I just painted them on the car.
