Guys with Greddy Catback, What you Do with the 02 Sensor Behind Cat???

I was trying to install my Greddy Catback today and Looks like there's a 02 Sensor behind the Cat. I took the plug off and started the car and No Check Engine light, but I couldn't get the rusted bolts off the Cat so I put the factory one back on. .. I'll give it another try maybe this weekend, Need to have them bolts welded off.

I dont remember the O2 sensor ur talkin about. But then again I did have my complete exh. done in one shot. There should be a BUNG for that somewhere in the catback. Do u also have a y-pipe/RT cat? I know I had to connect 2 O2sensors to my Y-pipe(cattman).None in the hi-flow cat,and none that I can recall in the catback.

greddy catbacks are made for cali spec. you have to weld another O2 hole onto it. Y2KevSE had to do this for his fed spec conversion.

You mean that they're made for FED spec, right?
Cali spec cars have the extra O2 sensors and the GReddy Bpipe didn't have the hole for it.
I had the same problem. If you unplug the O2 sensor your SES light WILL come on. Mine did and I went to have the bung welded in.

Greddy Cat-back is made for cali spec maximas (01-current) some 00s are cali spec also even you bought it outside of CA. For Fed emission ppl like me, you will need to weld on the O2 sensor bung on behind the main Cat. Cali spec cars DO NOT have O2 sensor after the Cat. Only Fed spec do!

yup....that O2 sensor after the cat on the Fed spec cars is located after the pre-cat of the front exhaust manifold. That O2 sensor has to be placed after a cat.

You would think the Cali spec cars would have more sensors on it then Fed Spec. O well, I guess I'll have to wait and get that welded on. Any muffler shop can do that or just a few?
Wonder why Greddy did such a Gay thing. This kinda thing takes the meaning of Bolton Away

To get a BUNG welded in it should cost more than $50

cali has 4 o2 and fed has three. the fed just has an o2 location behind the main cat while the cali has all four before it.
