And I know where you can buy one! PM me if your interested in buying a WSP pipe. I used it for less than 500 miles before removing it...

Seriously, don't waste your money. The y-pipe does NOTHING positive on the 2k2-2k3. Use the search function for more answers. The best exhaust mod is to replace the b-pipe. eliminating the kinks will get you about as much flow as the rest of the exhaust system will allow (starting way back at the pre-cats).

that's funny, cause it's spelled GRAMMAR

to anwer your question, if you want to do a sure mod that will not be considered a waste, i would rather invest in a b-pipe, aka the catback section. there are 2 VERY restrictive crushed spots along that pipe which alone restrict a lot of air. removing those 2 crush points will show a definite improvement. as far as who makes them, there are various ways.

1)warpspeed b-pipe (i'm skepticle, they've had some design flaws so until i see some positive remarks and better customer service, i'm staying away)

2)cattman b-pipe (cattman has always stood by his products, so i'm not scared to purchase from him, may pay a bit more, but the quality is shown in the product)

3) custom...go to a muffler shop and have them do either of 2 things...cut out the crush spots and weld on straight pipes or do a mandrel piping job from the cat to the muffler. scary cause there are many curves, especially at the end, but if they know their ****, then you shouldn't have to worry

GOOD LUCK!

so would it be a waste if i purchased a cat back, say OBX, where it includes the rear section , or should i just go for the b-pipe and keep the stock muffler?

A catback system like OBX will replace the B-pipe correct? Should see some noticeable gain?

depends. what are you looking for, a certain tone AS WELL AS gain. many have just replaced the catback section and kept the stock muffler, kinda like a sleeper look, although because the piping is thicker, there is a change in tone.

if you like how the OBX catback sounds, then a completeion catback exhaust would replace the crushed points.

gains are all in the bpipe. the muffler may, but i see it more for what kind of tone you are looking for.

me, i am doing a cattman b-pipe with a borla muffler, and only the borla because i like the tone, it is the best (IMO)
