cold air intake

Just bought a Black 2000 SE (automatic) last Friday. Love it, but its completely stock.

I've been driving Jeep Grand Cherokee's for the last 3 years so this is a major change for me.

I've decided to start with a cold air intake and was hoping some of you who have one would offer some advice as to what I should be looking for (brands, features, prices, websites to search etc...)

Thanks in advance guys

We carry the Injen CAI. Seems to be pretty popular across the board. It looks good and sounds good. Be sure to read the FAQ at the top of the page as well.

Frankencar is a warm air intake but its the most bang for the buck. Several people will tell you it gives the most HP gains of any aftermarket intake.

Some people will argue that the GAB does.

Place Racing is the way to go if you want a coold air intake. You can find that at www.custommaxima.com for about $215.00

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like there is some research to be done on my end before I make a decision.

By the way, what is "The GAB"?

GAB = Getto Air Box

I am going to replace the stock midpipe with a shortened Franken mid-pipe and connect it to the stock airbox as my next intake mod.
