frankencar intake put in yesterday

if i may add that steve and co are an awesome group of guys..

we goofed around he installed it for me and we tested it out..

sounds awesome tons of power...my *** dyno says its moving...

only problem is i feel like since that thing is in there i want to hear it at obnoxious levels..and since im taking off most of the time blasting from gear 1 to 3 at about 5,000 rpms+- a few at times....sometimes WOT to be a real ****.

and again whats bothering me is i feel like because of this awesome intake..ive turned into a complete *** and now my cars lifespan is going to probably be half of what it could have been.

should i take the thing out or keep it...

and what do you guys do to keep from driving like an *******?

Dude chillllll. The novelty will wear off and you wont be WOT as much.... maybe a little more than without it but you'll get used to having it so things will return to normal soon enough.

Yeah, just keep it in and after a while the sound novelty wears off. Maybe get a loud exhaust so you won't be able to hear the intake
