Both the driver's side and passengers side rocker panels on my max are rusted under the back doors. whats the easiest/cheapest way to fix them........fix the rust, or buy sideskirts and cover it.....thanks

i have the same damn problem. japanese steel sucks! I've been told by a buddy who owns a body shop that it's pointless to fix this problem while the frame and floor pans are also rusted through. I used rust inhibitor on small stuff, but eventually it rusts through from the other side. damned if you do, damned if you don't. do you have water that comes through the back seat when it rains due to rusted out wheel wells?
I have the same problem, and i'm having a local metal shop fabricate new rockers for me, $20 each, then i'm just going to get the floor touched up, have the new rockers welded on and have the dark bottom portion of my car repainted.

Yeah I was pretty happy with that price, the place that's doing them is actually a marine shop, that builds boats, but they're supposed to do amazing work. After I get all my body fixed, I NEED either the stillen or wings west kit.
