It comes the time to replace the muffler for my Max.

I'm a quiet guy and like my Max to be like me. I'm looking for muffler products on Amazon but not sure what brand to go with, as I said, I prefer quieter mufflers. need some advice here.

Also, for my wallet purpose, I don't mind to go junk yard looking for a used muffler, but my concern is, those cars have been sitting there outside in moisture for years, will those mufflers be very rusty from inside?

Best bet is to go ahead and just buy a "generic" oem muffler. They are pretty much all the same until you get into the performance ones.

I have a bosal muffler and while I don't really know how quiet it is, I certainly think it is since it doesn't sound noisy. I like it. Seems better than the walker soundFx I had on my minivan. Never felt that was ever quiet.

 

OEM is very quiet, and would do great.
