I am very jealous...if they only made it for the 4th Gens I'd probubly be all over it. Maybe it would look better if it was a little more conservative, but I still love it. What do you guys think?

I want pics of the first 5th Gen with Dual exhausts and THIS hood! WILL that ever happen!?

Go to www.sarona.com for more info you lucky bastards.

One a Black/Blue Max with Mustang Style duals (3.5"x16" Slanted Chrome Tips) with nice rims, lowered, tint, and a stillen body kit, the hood would look very mean. Judging from the pic above, so far I give it a big

The WS6 hood on a T/A is functional for the Cowl (sp?) Forced Air Induction. To get a hood like that with no purpose but looks is kinda IMO.

Well if you have the speed to back it up, who cares? So I guess that means 2001- naturally aspirated Maxima's are excluded.

My point exactly. To make the car look REALLY fast with no go is dumb to me. But again, that's just my opinion...

I like the hood, but the max with it better be Turbo/supercharged with some NOS, and badass rims to back it up. Or else it's just gay.

I'm not really feelin' that hood. That Max looks just like the blue Street Fighter (or Black Widow) Civic...

For $690 I just hope it's not made of fiberglass, and fits better than their body kits...

If I can't call the Maxima a muscle car then you can't have a muscle car hood.

That hood belongs to one of the members of Double Trouble here in NY... Ive seen that car and hood in person.. IMO it's tooo aggressive looking for the Maxima.. Now it just doesn't even look like a Maxima no more...

Might as well put some freakin' woodgrain on the side of the Max as the next accent... to match the hood.

There's an upside to the hood though... for the 2k2+ specifically. One hindrance to setting up a Turbo/SC on the 2k2+ is space - this should help give some of that space needed to fit some form of FI.

I don't know how it'll work, but at least now there's that extra room if it's necessary.

The right nostril looks like it might be able to ram air into the Throttle body. Bend some intake piping forward similer to the Injen and sit the filter right under the nostril. Might work like a charm.

And to fully judge this hood, it needs to be seen from many different angles. I believe that with the proper mods, it could look sweet.

Funny thing is, although it had the power to back up its claim...the last generation Firebirds were by far the most feminine looking 'muscle cars' of all time. Too curvy, etc. That being said, it is difficult to imagine that hood making the Max more 'aggressive'. More fruity...maybe.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The last gen Ram Air WS6's looked incredibly mean/muscular. I love the way they look.
