Difference in 2k/2k1 and 2k2/2k3 grill

Is there really a big difference between the 2 5th gen front grills? Would I be able to make a Street Scene 2k/2k1 grill fit my 2k3? Has anyone tried this? Thanks for any input.

the 2k2-2k3 is larger first off

secondly, the 2k-2k1 is built into bumper

Well, I have a 2k3 so I wouldn't have to worry about cutting it out. But it looks like a Street Scenes would be a no-go if they're a different size.
