My left front window the last week was working perfectly but yesterday I dont know why it dont go down and it dont make any noise I dont know why? somebodyknow what happend?? somebody have the same problem???

i wouldn't point the window regulator just yet. if the regulator is broken the motor will still turn or at least make some noise. best to open the panel and see.

 

three broken regulators and the motors all still made noise. could be a wiring problem. have you tinkered with anything electrical lately?

 

Main drivers power switch. Common problem. If your good with your hands you can take it appart and clean the contacts (might work). If not try a junk yard, but be sure it's one that is working. New ones cost about $80.00 I think.

 

mines self destructed. i ordered through south point nissan in tx. org name is DAVEBhe works there. it was like 62 bucks

side note.

I changed my regulator and my window doesnt go all the way up. it gets stuck like almost all the way up and leaves like 1/2 inch gap. I tried oiling up the tracks. i took off the regulator and installed it again. nothing. I even took off the two bolts that hold the window to the regulator and see if i can manually move it up but it does go all the way up , i dont know whats the problem. it seem like its getting caught while going up, like its rubbing. Even manually you have to use alot of pressure to move it up dunno what going on

might have something to do with warped or broken weatherstrip if the window you're talking about is a front one. feel around the entire track, including by the rearview mirror to make sure the track is clear.

 

hey, crazy4Max, check your PM for possible help. It's likely the top bolts on the regulator need to me moved over a tad.

hey thanks for ur help my problem start one day when my car wasnt started and all the windows dont go down and the trunk dont want to open by the push botton my problemas was the terminals I dont know if this make the problem of my window because since day it dont work oh and I was wrong it is making a noise like a click or something like that

 

I had the same problem so I left the bolts on the regulator loose enough so that when I ran the window up the first time the regulator moved enough that the window would go all the way up.
