I was hit this afternoon at 4pm PST when a 93 Caddy decided to make a Left hand turn in front of me as I was going thru the intersection... The airbags deployed the front end is gone the seatbelt broke and the dash popped up... Weird thing is the glass never broke... I am ok whiplash, bruised right leg and a busted a$$ car. I will update as soon as I have more info...

Whiplash

Hear me very carefully, do not talk to the other guys insurance adjuster, get a lawyer and let him handle this!! If you don't do this, it will cost you potential $$$$$ .

All I have to say is... even though people get upset on here over nothing (IMHO) most if not all of you are really great...

Thank you for all of your support. Oh and btw I have moderate whiplash, hyper-extended right leg and neck and I also dislocated my righ knee...

But I am fine and I get a small vaction from work!!

Again thank you all...

Dude, I'm sorry to hear that, I know just how that goes since my White Max was totalled in December. I know it may not seem like it now, but it will work out in the end. Just make sure the insurance doesn't try to screw you like it almost did me.

i feel ya

that same scenerio happened to me, when this stupid *** lady in a brand new millenia hit me from the left side while i was making a turn. she destroyed my wheel, the whole wheel setup was destroyed..fender,both doors gone..but see didn't hit the sensors to deploy the airbags..but i had a whiplash, and my ($300) dkny prescribed glasses were bent when i hit the window.

sorry to hear about u though...there is alot of stupid people out there...cause the millenia was on the other side of the solid yellow line.

Ouch! Sorry to hear the news about the car and mostly your injuries. I just had a 16 yr old walk away laughing, in a sense, from a flip that totalled the car ('93). When I tried talking to him and his friend couple days later about how serious it COULD have been, they laughed still. I finally said "Its not funny, we could be SPOONFEEDING you at the moment and you guys just have NO clue!". We're not invincible and sometimes have to think about how really lucky we are, instead of how unlucky things might seem.

Enjoy that vacation...and :-), use it as such..DOWN time..while you heal. Can you say Naprosyn and bunches of it? :-)

Best of luck to ya,

-L
