Torque For Spark Plugs

I just replaced my spark plugs last night. Since I don't have a torque wrench, I just tighten the plug by feel, I don't think I over tigten it too much.
What would happend if I over tighten?
What would happend if I did tighten it enough?

I think it's 18 ft/lbs.

Not tight enough and it could come loose
To tight and you may not be able to get it out.

You can go by feel, just tighten until you feel the crush ring squish down, then just give it another umph. Caution: If you don't know what an umph is, use a torque wrench.

Make sure you use anti-sieze on the threads so in case you accidentally overtighten you can still get them out.

14 - 22 lb.ft

As vague as that is... that is what the factory manual says. So average that out and make it 18 like the first guy said... or to a max. of 22. I guess 14 is min. and 22 is max.
