Just when you thought the new Q was the most powerful -->
BMW comes out with a more powerful V8 engine, a 4.6L V8. It's in the X5 for now, but may be incorporated into the next 7-series as the base engine.

then again, it's been stated that infiniti wants the q to take on the 5 series bimmers... they supposedly have something planned to take out the 7 series to be announced at a later date. i think that's craaaaazy. it's already suppoed to be 340 hp with a 400 hp variant (possibly as the 't' model?).
BEHIND? that sounds a little dramatic. 340hp V8 is NOT behind just because bmw has a 4.6L with 355 or so. 15hp is not that big of a deal when you that much power. Besides....the q will be out in a month or by March first....we don't know about the 5 or 7. Now Toyota's 430 is behind
Only 6.3 to 60....tisk tisk.

my friend that works at infiniti told me that the new q45 is coming with titanium internals and i think pushing close to 400 hp if im not mistaken. He also said that they will be bring the skyline over in the form of an infiniti. Prolly 4 doors.

As for the Skyline being imported. I don't think it's going to happen. It been a rumor for years now, and I read a while back that Nissan axed the idea in favor of adding more SUV's to the Infiniti lineup. We may even see an Infiniti version of the Z-car next year.
